***Serving children ages 3 months to 12 years***
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic lead guide for a Pre-Primary environment of children working on transitional skills from Toddler to Primary. This role is supported by a robust team of other Infant-Toddler and Primary guides, directors, and mentors. As a member of this team, you will actively advocate for your students, mindful of their developmental needs in accordance with Montessori philosophy.
If you can…
Provide a Montessori Infant-Toddler OR Primary Diploma OR enroll in a training program by September 2024.
Pass a background check and all other training requirements.
Possess an unconditional love for this stage of development.
Maintain a safe, orderly, and nurturing environment for children.
Observe and meet each child’s physical, emotional, developmental, and social needs.
Plan, create, and implement materials and lessons.
Work respectfully and collaboratively with team members such as assistants, other lead guides, and heads of school.
Use a computer for record-keeping and communicating with families.
Sit on the floor, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 30 pounds.
